These floors and pavements have been decorated and coated with printable graphics on MACtac self adhesive vinyl and overlaminated with a protective slip resistant laminate. A warranty is available for these products. Short, medium and long term promotional campaigns.
MACtac Floor Graphics consist of a base product for printing the image and a laminate for protecting the image and providing slip resistance:
CHOOSING THE BASE PRODUCT:
From our range of products we recommend a solvent based adhesive for the best results. Water based adhesives can be used for price sensitive and short term campaigns but if the floors are going to be washed you may experience edge lifting. Permanent adhesives can be used depending on application.
CHOOSING THE LAMINATE:
All MACtac Floor laminates have a non slip surface. For the best results we recommend our medium to high grade laminates in the interest of safety.
CONSTRUCTION:
Overlaminate the print with your selected film via cold press lamination. Ensure your print has had enough time to dry. Wait at least 1 hour before trimming, 24 hours is ideal. The overlaminate should be trimmed to the same size as the graphic i.e. at no point should the laminate over hang the print and make contact with the floor. Use a sharp blade and trim on a 45 degree angle. To avoid lifting of the graphic it is recommended to round off any corners.
TRANSPORT:
Allow maximum time after lamination before rolling up for transport, ideally overnight. Roll to the largest possible diameter ( a minimum of 30 centimeters) Roll with the MACtac laminate to the outside
APPLICATION:
It is highly recommended to test the application surface for compatibility before installation. Use recommended cleaning procedures to clean and degrease flooring surface. The minimum application temperature is 5 degrees Celsius.
